Jarret Brachman, Ph.D.
director of intelligence
Director of Intelligence Services with an emphasis on criminal intelligence. He is a specialist on global terrorism and violent extremism. He directs the Global Threat Intelligence program at Wells Fargo, leading a team of intelligence analysts in strategic threat forecasting and operational support for the bank. Brachman also retains a formal advisory role with the U.S. national intelligence community, consulting on counterterrorism related issues. Prior to Wells Fargo, Brachman directed a security intelligence program at North Dakota State University in his hometown of Fargo, ND. In that role, Brachman trained thousands of law enforcement professionals, first responders, and court personnel around the country on physical security and counterterrorism matters. Brachman was previously the founding director of research for the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy – West Point and a Graduate Fellow with the CIA’s Counterterrorist Center. He is a recognized speaker on deadly force incidents at places of worship where he focuses on understanding the mind of the attacker.
